Product Description
Protect your personnel and cut your energy loss
Silicone Rubber Extruded Fiberglass Sleeving is insulation properties provide personnel with effective protection against burns from hot hoses and flexible steam lines, while reducing heat energy losses.
Product Feature
Silicone Rubber Extruded Fiberglass Sleeving is constructed from high bulk glass fiber braided sleeve. Excellent modulus of elasticity makes it an excellent choice for bundling hoses, tubes and cables in a variety of hostile environments.
Product Specification / Models
Withstands intense radiant heat and flame
Aerospace AS1072 Grade Fire Sleeve will withstand continuous exposure to 500u00b0 F (260u00b0C); up to 2000u00b0F (1090u00b0C) for 15-20 minutes; and up to 3000u00b0F (1650u00b0C) for 15-30 seconds. When exposed to flame, the silicone rubber transforms into a crust, creating a protective SiO2 refractory layer.
Application / Models
Sheds splash immediately
Silicone Rubber Extruded Fiberglass Sleeving withstands repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminum and molten glass up to 3000u00b0F (1650u00b0C). The heavy coating of our proprietary iron oxide red silicone rubber compound sheds molten metal splash immediately, so very little heat transfer occurs.
