The skeleton of skeleton oil seal and the spring inside of oil seal are made of metal, while the sealing lip and other main parts are made of rubber. According to different environment of using, we use various rubber materials to satisfy the distinct sealing requirement.

Chemical resistance:

1. Excellent resistance to almost all chemicals

2. Not subject to ageing, so a near infinite shelf / storage life

3. Can be use in food, chemical and medical industries (among others)

4. Low elasticity (memory), making it unsuitable for dynamic applications unless energized by suitable material (I.E. rubber)

5. Low coefficient of friction
