Ameica type hose clamp has a screw thread made of holes in the tape. Clamp have screw thread pressed into bend. More resistant hose, the more torque can be used. Soft hose cause skipping when tightening clamp - tape turns into a supple material. Clamping extensions from 6 to 228 mm. For larger clamping extensions is used endless band. Clamp made of zinc coated steel.

The band is cold formed for extra strength. The bevelled edges protect the hose from being cut.
