Frequency Converters

We have already made the site survey and we have the figure; however, we don't have info regarding frequency converter how much will it be the initial project cost and running cost; As we are recommended, I started contacting GoHz and I am waiting for their response. I will be glad if anyone provide me more source to get frequency converter especially from USA.

Several manufacturers make small DC-DC Converters that will transform these voltages. If you don't have significant space limitations and are on a short schedule, they may be a good option vs. designing your own. As for converting to an intermediate voltage, then to 3.3 v, cascading them may be an option, but inter-stage filtering and layout details will generally be necessary.

One advantage to frequency converter is that it inherently has 'Hold-Up' capacity, for intermittent power loss. I have seen many small DC-DC converter but it looks like most cut off at around 75 volts. I am looking at some from TI right now, Also I am wondering if I should try for a straight Buck converter or something more along the lines of a Fly Back. Why don't you use a MOSFET and design your own DC-DC Buck Converter. MOSFET's with this rating are easily available and are cheap. Rest you need is an inductor and a Capacitor which again are not expensive. Then use a 555 timer to trigger the frequency converter.
