This system(THT-APS) can instantly monitor relevant data, cut off failed power supply as soon as possible, prevent the medium and low-voltage switch equipment from serious damages, and protect the main transformer and factory or standby transformers against damages due to impact of short-circuit current affecting the station- oriented DC system, avoid huge economic losses, reduce the impact of power shutdown, and prevent feeder fault spreading to buses, which has greatly improved the reliability of the system and reduced the maintenance costs.

THT-APS-MU employs bus types protection and each unit can carry 16 way arc sensor independently at most. When there is a large quantity of sensors, add 1(or more) arc collection unit(s).
THT-APS-FU employed feeder type protection, and each can be mounted with 2-way arc sensor independently.
