Application / Models
1) The briquette machine can be used to extrude charcoal bar in different shape as hexagon, cylinder
or quadrangle under high pressure and high temperature.
2) The final bio-fuel briquette is made by the advanced biomass briquetting press.
3) Almost all type of Agro-Forestry waste can be used, including: wood chips, maize stalks, soybean
stalks, broomcorn stalks, cotton stalks, rape stalks, peanut plants, sunflower stalks, bamboo saw dust,
bagasse, etc.
4) After the processing of drying, compressing under the high pressure and temperature, the biomass
briquette is characterized by high density, small in size, better combustion, capable as the substitute
for the superior coal or firewood.
5) This bio-fuel briquette is 50-70mm in diameter, occurs in the hollow quadrangular or hexagonal cylinder with a 15-20mm hole through the body.
Other Information
Working principle:
1) Briquetting is a process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature.
2) The self bonding of biomass to form a briquette involves the thermo-plastic flow of the biomass. The lignin content that occurs naturally in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature. Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes.
3) During this process, no binder needs to be used. So the output briquette is a type of clean and green fuel that is ideal for use in furnaces, boilers and open fires. The density of the briquettes is 900-1400kg/m.
