• Chemical properties

The most remarkable feature of EVOH resin is its barrier effect on gas. It is used in the packaging structure to improve the retention of flavor and quality by preventing the infiltration of oxygen.In the use of inflatable packaging technology, EVOH resin effectively retains carbon dioxide or nitrogen used to protect products.

• Oil resistance

EVOH resin also has strong oil resistance and organic so ent resistance. After immersion in various so ents and oils at 68 ° f for 1 year, the weight increase percentage is 0% for so ents such as p-cyclohexane, xylene, petroleum ether, benzene and acetone, 2.3% for ethylene glycol and 12.5% for methanol 2%, 0.5% for salad oil 1%.

• Mechanical properties

EVOH resin has high mechanical strength, elasticity, surface hardness, wear resistance, weather resistance, and strong antistatic property. EVOH film has high gloss and low haze, so it is highly transparent.

• Thermal properties

EVOH resin is the resin with the highest thermal stability among all commercial strong barrier resins. This property enables the waste generated in processing to be regenerated and reused. The recycled material contains more than 20% EVOH.

Application:

EVOH high gas barrier functional resin can isolate oxygen to prevent the deterioration of content items. Therefore, EVOH is widely used in mayonnaise, ketchup and other food packaging materials. In addition, this product is also used in plastic fuel tank, which plays a positive role in preventing the leakage of volatile gasoline and reducing the weight of the vehicle. In the construction field, it is used to replace metal floor heating pipes, and the demand is gradually expanding in areas other than food packaging.

Packaging & Shipping:

The resin is packaged in internally film-coated polypropylene woven bags. The net weight is 25Kg/bag. The resin should be stored in a drafty, dry warehouse and away from fifire and direct sunlight. It should not be piled up in the open air. During transportation, the material should not be exposed to strong sunlight or rain and should not be transported together with sand, soil, scrap metal, coal or glass. Transportation together with toxic, corrosive and flflammable substance is strictly prohibited.
