OF-3004 is a polyfunctional compound containing mercapto groups.
In the direct curing adhesion process of rubber- metal, it reacts respectively with the metal and rubber, forms a reinforcing layer at the interface, so as to achieve good adhesive result. OF-3004 is effective for nitrile rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, epichlorohydrin rubber, PVC rubber etc. Reference dosage 2-5 phr.
In addition, good synergy can be achieved if OF-3004 is used together with OF-HVA2 (N, N'-m-phenylene bismaleimide). The reference dosage is 1-3 phr.
