Outdoor Vacuum Power Accept Load Break Switch

The T branch line fault or terminal user fault in 10kV overhead distribution line will cause the outlet of substation switch trip, because the incoming line switch protect time and outlet of substation switch protection time cannot be reasonably set. If it is a permanent fault, the substation will not be successfully reclosed; if so, a local MV user accident will lead to power cut in the whole 10kV distribution line.

Inner there is a zero-sequence CT, with transformation ratio 20/1. It should keep linear relationship during 0.2~6A, and the transformation ratio deviation should be lower than 3% on condition of rated load; when 1 time side zero-sequence current is 400A, the 2-time output efficient current should be no less than 6A. The CT is covered by epoxy resin to improve the mechanical strength.

Watchdog of the outdoor vacuum power accept load break switch



If install a power accept circuit breaker (usually called" watchdog") at the responsible point of branch line or terminal user, it will judge the fault (over current, short-circuit, single phase earthing, etc.), automatically disconnect it, and keep normal electric power for non-fault users, suitable for incoming T connection or terminal connection as well as other satisfactory branch connecting positions.
