OPGW is usually adopted for newly built electric lines and ADSS is normally used for already existing electric lines.

The optical cable armor fittings are different from electric power fittings, and they are used for the connection and combination of OPGW or ADSS optical fiber lines, and functioning transmitting load and protection, and offering supports between the OPGW and ADSS optical fiber lines’ metal accessories.
